WHO HAS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ROCKFORD?
THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!
The answer is not that simple when you ask a foodie. So for the last 3 years we have been working with and training several local foodies to be judges and this year we had 11 sign up! So our judges went out and tried every Mexican dish they could in the Rockford region and after 11 long months, they reported back! One Judge even spent close to $2800 this year alone on eating out. So a huge thanks go out to our judges we couldn't name the areas best without you!!
We can't have an award for every category or every dish under the sun but we do have awards for Rockford Best Tamale, Rockford Best Taco, and Rockford Best Mexican Restaurant!

The Judge's Identities are anonymous because we want the locations to not know they are being judged to ensure we have normal interactions. Some restaurants were actually left out solely because of bad service or other issues. So to all the restaurants out there please be kind and courteous you never know who is at your table waiting for a taco!
